Annika Allen is the co-owner of entertainment platform The Black Magic Network and co-founder of the Black Magic Awards – a show created to honour and celebrate “extraordinary and inspirational” women of colour that have paved the way in a variety of fields. She also works in Diversity & Inclusion for Barclays.
Annika has over 15 years’ experience in the communications and marketing industry leading on projects for brands such as Google UK, Universal and Skype that have delivered solid results and innovative experiences strategically devised to grow, inspire and entertain. Listed as one of the most inspirational black British females in an article in The Metro, she is a sought after speaker on business, diversity, social media and popular culture and her entrepreneurial spirit, creative flair and go-getting attitude has enabled her to build businesses and brands and empower the next generation of creative talent through digital communications and entertaining and educational experiential events.
Annika is also the host of the award winning Black Magic Podcast and is a seasoned speaker, broadcast presenter and discussion facilitator. Her specialities for speaking are:
